VADS Associate – Crew Member

As a VADS Associate – Crew Member, you’ll be part of a high-performing team responsible for the relocation and placement of IT equipment, including servers and network hardware. This is a hands-on, physically active role ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrive in a team environment.

LOCATIONS:

Greencastle, PA & Sterling, VA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Asset Relocation: Transport and maneuver IT equipment in accordance with project specs.
Equipment Placement: Accurately position server racks and components on-site.
Asset Management: Label, log, and track equipment with precision.
Safety Compliance: Follow best practices for heavy lifting and tool usage.
Project Coordination: Communicate clearly with team leads and clients to stay on schedule.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Capable of standing, bending, and performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience using material handling equipment (e.g., dollies, hand trucks, forklifts).
Familiarity with server or IT hardware is a plus.
High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Strong communication and time management skills.

Must provide own basic tools and safety gear (e.g., gloves, steel-toe boots).
Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID required.
Background check may be required.
Responsible for transportation to and from job sites.
