Position: VADS Associate – Crew Member

​

As a VADS Associate – Crew Member, you will handle the placement and movement of computer servers and IT equipment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety practices, and effective coordination with team members.

​

Key Responsibilities:

1. Asset Relocation: Transport and maneuver IT equipment per project specifications.
2. Equipment Placement: Position assets accurately based on requirements.
3. Asset Management: Ensure accurate labeling and tracking of equipment.
4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to heavy lifting practices and ensure tools are safe to use.
5. Project Coordination: Collaborate with contacts to meet deadlines and provide task updates.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and perform physically demanding tasks.

​

Qualifications:
- Proficient in using material handling equipment (e.g., dollies, forklifts).
- Familiarity with server setups is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

**1099 Contractor Expectations**: 
- Provide own tools and safety gear.
- Valid driver’s license or ID required.
- Background verification may be necessary.
- Responsible for transportation to job sites.
